Software Installation

  1. SkyControl is provided upon purchase of SKYMATE. Please contact us if you do not have it.
  2. Run the installer and follow the steps.

Software installation on Mac : unlocking is required in security preferences.

First connection

  1. Launch SkyControl.
  2. Using the provided USB cable, connect the autopilot to your computer.
  3. The status "Connected" should appear in the top right corner. If not, please refer to the troubleshooting section. 




Software Pages

There are 6 principal pages in SkyControl. You can navigate between the pages by using the navigation menu located at the top left corner of the software interface. Each page is represented by an icon.

GCSS Connection Status

The GCSS connection status area informs you if the GCSS is connected to the autopilot. This status can have 4 states :


This status indicates that the software is synchronized with SKYMATE™.

This status indicates that the software is downloading SKYMATE™ parameters.

This status can only take place when trying to connect to SKYMATE™ via Radio DataLink. This status indicates that the software is synchronized and connected with DataLink but the DataLink is not connected with its matching pair connected to SKYMATE™.

This status indicates that the software is not connected with SKYMATE™.
