Setting, Loading and Saving Parameters Principale

Setting Parameters

All SKYMATE™ parameters can be set using the same system. An example of the system is depicted below:

Each parameter is represented with 3 columns:

  • Defaults : The value of the parameter when SKYMATE™ was initialized
  • Values : An input box allowing to enter the value that you want to set
  • Uploaded : The value currently uploaded into SKYMATE™

There are 2 arrows per parameter :

  • The arrow on the left (Defaults > Values) pushes Defaults into Values, that is : Default → Value. This is useful to reset Values to its original value.
  • The arrow on the right (Values > Uploaded) pushes Values into Uploaded, that is : Values → Uploaded. This sets the parameter in SKYMATE™.

You can set Values by editing the input box. When the field Values is changed, the input box will change its colour to blue as shown below. This indicates that the field Values was changed but not set yet in SKYMATE™.

By using the arrow on the right (Values → Uploaded), you can set the parameter in SKYMATE™. In this case, the input box will change its colour to greenThis indicates that the parameter was set in SKYMATE™.

To enter a negative value in any text box of SkyControl, you must follow these steps:

  1. Set a value of 0
  2. Click on the down arrow ▼ to make a negative value appear
  3. Highlight everything except the minus sign "-"
  4. Enter the absolute value of your negative number as you would normally
  5. Upload the new value of your parameter to your UAS by clicking on

Loading/Saving Parameters

Parameters can be loaded from and/or saved into specific files. Those files can be used to store and restore SKYMATE™ configuration. The configuration files are in JSON format. To save parameters, go to the Overview tab of the Configuration page and click on the Save Profile button. To load previously saved parameters, click on the Load Profile button.
